We left the Stults' farm this morning, and drove the approximate 45 minutes to Elkhart, IN.
Once again** we are parked in Elkhart Campground, in Elkhart, IN. This campground is neat, clean, well-designed. The owners are familiar with rv-ers coming in to have work done at a neighboring business.
**We were here on the way to Mackinaw City, MI.
Glen explained to the owner this morning that we were waiting for the paint shop to give us a definite date for the work to commence. He told Glen not to worry about paying yet, just wait until we knew the schedule. He said if it is a week, then it is cheaper to pay for a week rather than per day. How nice of him to work with us.
This afternoon we visited a couple of repair/service businesses, talked to a couple of service people.
Phoenix Paint--the owner is going to come to the rv and start preliminary work here at the site, probably tomorrow.
Charger Enterprise - has ordered the step motor, will call after delivery to set up appointment.
Hobson RV Service - refrigerator/ice maker repair-
Quality Restorations - come to rv site to check a small tear in leather sofa
I watched the local news/weather this afternoon. The afternoon high temp was only one degree higher than the record "low" high temp. I really enjoy a high of 72 degrees two days from the end of July!
Let the work commence!
