Thursday we spent a couple of hours with Mom at the care enter.
My cousin Mike was there part of the time. Glen and I enjoyed visiting with Mike.
Mom seemed to be 'under the weather' with a cough and low energy. I dread winter for her as any bugs, flu, coughs will be hard on her.
Today we are looking forward to a family dinner at the home of Jan and Bruce. Mark and Becky (brother and wife) will be here as well as Jan and Bruce's boys Matt and Mitch and families will be here.
I baked a chocolate sheet cake. Jan and Bruce are furnishing the main course. Everyone else will contribute side dishes.
We will be heading to the Joplin/Carthage/Carl Junction MO area in the morning. More later.
