August 30, 2017, Wednesday "Grand Canyon of YNP"

Jeff and Marcella once again chose our destination for today.  We went to the "Grant's Pass" area where the "Grand Canyon of YNP" is located.  The Yellowstone River flows into several narrow canyons and forms the "Upper" and "Lower" Waterfalls.  It is most impressive.

Jeff and Marcella are impressed with the lower number of vehicles at the parking lots.  We were able to find parking at each area visited.  During the high days of summer that is not always possible.

On the return to the campground we saw 8 or so Trumpeter swans, and a herd of approximately 200 bison.

The evening ended with vocals and guitars (3) by Glen, Doug, Evelyn, Marcella, and Mildred.

I need a name for this musical band of family members.  Any suggestions?

Above: various views of the canyon walls, the falls, all awesome beauty.

I have many pictures of this area.
