Sunday, February 10, 2013

It has been a typical, quiet Sunday here in south Texas.

Church.

Lunch with a group from church.

Reading and watching basketball in the Outdoor Living Space.

Visiting with a couple of neighbors.

No nap today.

Hope your Sunday has been just what you wanted.

A bit of wildlife for you today.  This is a curved-bill thrasher feeding at the suet feeder.

At church this morning a friend and neighbor, Mark, mentioned that he had caught a Mexican milk snake at his work place, out in the desert, and taken it home. We took Flat Stanley over to see it.  Mark said it is just the second one he has ever seen here in Zapata, and he has lived here all his life.
