We finally heard from the mobile RV repairman last evening. He was in the hospital with a kidney stone. OK, that is a good excuse!
Wednesday evening we went to Darin/Sarah's house to watch the family do their fireworks.
Since both Darin and Sarah were not working today, the Fourth, Ashlynn and Zade came home with us last night!
I told Zade and Ashlynn they couldn't get up unless the clock had a "seven" as the first number. Alas, Zade came in and said "Mimi, it says "7"." It actually was 6:50 so it wasn't too far off.
He does know what a "7" looks like, he just couldn't wait any longer!
Poppy Glen and Zade played some with the ball. Ashlynn's Nail Salon was open and she did a manicure for me!
Darin and Sarah came and asked if everyone wanted to go to the movie. It is the opening day for "Despicable Me 2". I must admit the first time I watched Despicable Me I didn't like it; but it has grown on me. Despicable Me 2 was quite funny. Zade laughed out loud all the way through.
We checked to see if the Farmer's Market was open this afternoon....and, it was. We brought home local honey, corn, cucumbers, tomatoes and peaches. Can you say "BLT" sandwiches and peach cobbler?
I enjoy a fireworks' show as much as anyone. The city-sponsored show will be at nine tonight. We will find a spot to park and watch.
