We are unloaded, and unpacked. We were greeted with 82 degrees this afternoon!
Neighbors welcomed us home. It is good to be missed.
Here's something we saw as we drove home. This is about 30 miles north of Zapata. The long-lasting drought has done in pastures and of course, there is no water in ponds, creeks, or lakes.
Rancher was feeding prickly pear cacti to his cattle. The rancher burns off the spines with a torch before feeding it. He says he alternates days feeding the cacti with hay. Of course hay is expensive.
I think I am caught up on the past week!
