It's Monday. Get ready for Music Night.
This morning:
use blower on concrete floors,
use power washer on floors,
set out chairs
bake cake for tonight--"gooey butter cake"
Evelyn and Gary prepared pulled pork sandwiches, homemade mac 'n' cheese for lunch. Delicious.
Afternoon:
a little music warm-up
read
celebrate the 86 degrees
Evening:
Fred and Gay arrive with their music. Fred fished this afternoon; didn't get a bite! Gay brought peanut butter cookies. Delicious.
Doyle and Arlene, Sally arrive. Fred ill with cold; didn't come. Arlene sings with Fred and Gay, Glen, and Evelyn.
In between songs there is some conversation about traveling to Alaska, shopping in Laredo (Arlene and Sally).
We were able to be outdoors tonight with NO heaters. It is currently 70 degrees.
It's been a great day!
