7/22/2014 Page 2 Photos update: 66 mile one way bus trip into Denali National Park.

There was fresh snow on the mountain tops.
The best look at a grizzly we had...and it was far away.
This caribou was in the same river bed, a long ways apart, maybe up to a mile.
More fresh snow on the mountains.
The base of Mt. Denali.  Fog/low clouds/haze kept the rest of the mountain hidden. This summer the entire mountain has only been visible 15-20 percent of the time.  This has been a cloudy season.
All roads lead to Mt. Denali.  The road is gravel, and mostly one lane.  We rode the bus 66 miles into the interior of the Park.
Our new motto!  This was displayed at the Eielson Visitors' Center at the 66 mile marker.

A young caribou.  We saw many caribou throughout the day.
Old Glory waves in the wilds of Denali National Park, at a stop on the bus trip.
A golden eagle perched on the ridge of a hill, either with a catch or looking for a catch.
A contrast in colors and textures.
Camouflage.  Can you see the caribou?
