Gary and Evelyn received word this afternoon that Gary's mother has taken a turn for the worse. They quickly packed a suitcase and departed, returning to Missouri.
This morning we checked out a yard sale at the home of friends, Del and Jean (baker of lemon meringue pies). Jean has been a great and varied crafter. She had lots of supplies for sale.
We then went to a crafts fair at Lake Front RV park. I did purchase two hand knitted dishwashing cloths. Big purchase.
Gary prepared a meatloaf and a cheesy potato casserole this morning. The dishes were in the oven when they received the call regarding his mother. We also steamed fresh broccoli. Marcella prepared fresh lemonade.
Marcella and Jeff, Glen and I enjoyed the wonderful meal.
