Since July 1 there has been 5.31" of rain here at the RV park. A couple of the storms yesterday and today were accompanied with lots of loud thunder and lightning. We saw several lightning strikes that were straight down into the earth.
Several towns in the Bootheel had wind gusts (yesterday) of 50-60 mph. Of course there was trees down and rooves blown away.
Gymnastics are usually on Thursday evenings for Ashlynn. We went to watch her but the facility door was locked and the lights off. No explanation offered.
Zade has a baseball tournament scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Due to all the rain, there has been no practice.
