Rocking the wind-blown look!

With the removal of the mobile home on the "new"property we were ready to finish up the last things to leave Zapata.

We made reservations at Pioneer Beach Resort, Port Aransas, Mustang Island, Texas to arrive Wednesday.

After saying good-bye to the neighbors we were ready to hit the road!

We arrived shortly after one Wednesday (yesterday) afternoon.  Ah-h-h, beach, sand, breezes!

There is obvious destruction from the hit of Hurricane Harvey last August (2017).  This park was not able to get all RV units removed.  50 RV's were found against a big tall sand dune after the hurricane.
Just now there is an electrician working on the electrical breaker/plug where our RV is plugged in.  All of a sudden the electricity/power quit!  This situation is the perfect reason to have a surge/voltage protector.  We happen to have a Progressive brand.  Glen highly recommends that all campers/RV's have one.

Splish! Splash! I was taking a bath!

We will be here for a week! Looking forward to exploring and enjoying the sound of the waves, the squack of the gulls, the taste of Gulf shrimp!

By the way, we ate lunch yesterday at Moby Dick's Seafood Grill.  It has only been open ten days and has a very limited menu!
