April 13, 2018 "Always Take Your Camera" (Mustang Island: Pioneer RV Resort)

ALWAYS TAKE YOUR CAMERA!!

If you don't, then you find birds that you have been looking for that are too far away for the phone camera!  Don't worry! we will go back tomorrow.

These pictures are from a drive along the beach and the marina.

I haven't ID'ed these yet, but they are small and cute.

Built in the 1850's the Lydia Ann Lighthouse is now priviately owned by the founder of the HEB grocery store chain.

Boardwalk at Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center  were destroyed by  Hurricane Harvey.

L. Turnbull Birding Center (last picture) boardwalk had two viewing towers that overlooked a part of the bay which is the home/resting place for migrants of many species of birds.  We saw one alligator in this location.
