This afternoon was the last of the variety shows scheduled for the winter season. The organizer/scheduler said in another two weeks "people would be leaving the area."
"The Jay and Tammy Show" performed today. Wow, what talented musicians! Tammy played a bass guitar and Jay played the electric guitar. Plus, both are outstanding singers. They sang/played country/western, gospel, 60's pop, etc.....just what the audience of 65-85 year-old Winter Texans wanted to hear.
Jay and Tammy have a summer home on Prince Edward Island, and spend the winter in Weslaco, TX. They also told us that they are occasionally on RFD-TV. I highly recommend that if you have the opportunity to hear/watch them, to do so!
Glen spent some time working on the "outdoor" television. The picture quality wasn't up to par...to expectations. After some experimenting, changing wires, connections, moving the TV inside the mh....you get the picture, it was decided that the television is okay. The wiring to the signal splitter was suspect or the splitter itself is a cheap model.
Like most days today started cloudy, ending the day with some clouds. The low and high were 57/84 degrees.
How's the weather where you are?
