Glen and I did some research this morning on getting lab work done here in Zapata with results sent back to our doctors in Missouri.
We found that lab orders have to originate in Texas. What will be done is we check in with a doctor here, he will write the orders, and then lab work can be done.
Glen's first errand of Friday will be lab work!
Glen and Evelyn and I went to the afternoon jam session. Today there were only seven performers, which allows lots of time for each performer.
Chef Gary perform his magic while we were gone! There was a delicious meatloaf, baked sweet potatoes, salad, and baked beans for all when we got home.
Gay and Fred came over about seven for a few games of "19-point Pitch." Our team---Gary, Gay, and me--lost every game!
Gary also baked a cake for the evening dessert. It was a strawberry cake with a cheesecake topping.
The day started with clouds and a mist that could barely be felt. About three the clouds parted, and the sun broke through. Temperatures then reached 82 degrees.
