The "Gomer and Patsy" Show

This after we attended the "Gomer and Patsy" show at the nearby rv park.

Patsy and Gary Crane (Crain?) performed for for two hours.  Patsy and Gary are from Searcy, Arkansas, but spend the winter in south Texas, performing several times a week.

Gary is a man with many voices.  There were performances by "Gomer", "Barney Fife", "Dean Martin", "the Duke-John Wayne", "Walter Brennan", "Elvis", and a few others.  Many times the character would have some comedy lines and sing.  He did an excellent job.  "Go-ll-ee!"--Gomer Pyle.

Patsy sang in the style of Brenda Lee, Patsy Cline,  Connie Francis.  She also did an excellent job.

It was an afternoon of many laughs and great entertainment. 

Glen, Evelyn, and I did a bike ride through the neighborhood after the entertainment.

Weather: high 78 degrees; low 63 degrees.  Cloudy until mid-afternoon.
