The day has been spent getting ready to leave Cape Girardeau in the morning.
It's time for the annual Whittle (my dad) Camp-out at Alley Springs National Scenic Riverways, Eminence, MO.
I expect there will be near-100 in attendance. There will be swimming, canoeing, card-playing, bike riding, lots of visiting and catching up. The now-daily 100/degree temperatures are supposed to be gone by Thursday, with the forecast to range from the upper 60's to the high 80's.
The RV mobile repairman arrived this morning. He did some repair work on the bathroom throne.
We have collected all of the clothes and toys needed by Ashlynn and Zade. Ashlynn and Zade are going with us in the morning. Darin and Sarah will arrive Thursday afternoon.
Just a reminder that Alley Springs sits in a valley, which means no Internet and no cell phone service---unless we go to the top of the hill. We will check for texts and emails daily by either going to the top of the hill or into the town of Eminence.
We will return to Cape Girardeau Sunday--for one night. Details of the next trip then.
