Gary and Evelyn arrived in Kansas City this afternoon. They visited Gary's mother all afternoon. She was having a good afternoon, but hadn't talked with a doctor yet.
Friends Jim and Cris also arrived this afternoon at Jim's home in the Lake of the Ozarks area. No update yet on the condition of Jim's (previously) flooded home.
This morning Jeff/Marcella, Glen and I hauled our bikes to Airport Road here in Zapata. Airport Road has no traffic, is flat, and 2.5 miles one way--the perfect biking road. Glen and I rode 5 miles; Marcella and Jeff rode 3 laps--7.5 miles. It was great ride except when riding north--into the wind.
It was a good Jam Session. There was one new guitarist/vocalist.
The four of us have plans to drive to "the Valley" tomorrow. Stay tuned for Wednesday's activities.
