July 2, 2017 (Sunday) Travel North to South (Landing Point RV Park, Cape Girardeau, MO)

There is not much to report today.  We left Amana, Iowa this morning about 7:50; I know, early for u
We traveled through Iowa to the Missouri border, down Highway 61, to the congestion and traffic of the St. Louis area, to I-55, south to Cape Girardeau.  We arrived about 2:30.

There was one fuel stop in Troy, Missouri.  The Walmart diesel price was $1.97 per gallon.  Wowza!  Glen mentioned that he didn't know if he had ever bought diesel that cheap since we started RVing.

We will spend this week taking care of errands.  Number One: buy a new RV tire.  Number Two: take Ashlynn and Zade with us when we leave Friday morning.  There are several things to do in between those!

By the way:  I think 95 percent of Iowa is corn fields with some soybean fields thrown in!

The past two weeks have been a fun jaunt!s!
