Another day on the road! There were miles and miles of fields of alfalfa, corn, thousands of beef cattle and dairy cattle across the western half of Kansas. We arrived at the Air Force Academy mid afternoon .
This a beautiful "fam camp".....RV park......Located under the pine trees each site is far enough from the next site to have a feeling of privacy.
Glen declared at the check in that we had weapons on board. We were escorted to the Security Building where the guns were checked in. We will retrieve them as we leave.
We are looking forward to exploring this area tomorrow. A friend Leigh whose son is attending the academy shared a list of things not to miss!
