April 14, 2014 Out and About on Mustang Island, TX

We enjoyed a drive out and about today along the shores of Mustang Island today.

Early 4-5 a.m. this morning a line of loud, noisy thunderstorms moved through the area.

The air temp was 60 degrees!  But this wind surfer was enjoying the storm churned waves.

Three drilling platforms brought from the Gulf of Mexico to the Corpus Christi Shipping Channel to avoid Hurricane Harvey (Aug 2017)

Isn't this a great color!  Roseate Spoonbills.
